Setia Darma House of Masks and Puppets

This will be our third night time event, heading back to the grounds of the incredible Setia Darma House of Masks and Puppets in Ubud. A perfect venue to bring TEDxUbud to life.

Located just a few miles from the heart of Ubud, the House of Masks and Puppets covers more than one hectare of land surrounded by traditional Balinese villages and rice fields. It is a place where various kinds of masks and puppets from different regions in Indonesia and around the world have been collected, stored, and displayed for public since 2006. The collection includes more than 1,300 masks and 5,700 puppets—all collected as a reference which can be used for various purposes.

TEDxUbud has a strong and fast-growing following in Indonesia. A group of 500 change-makers, innovators, thinkers, creatives, cultural leaders & social pioneers witness a back-to-back full evening schedule of talks, performances, and several interactive surprises. And, although taking place in Bali, our talks will be translated into multiple languages by the TED Translators Program online.

Join us in October for our eighth edition and a journey of storytelling, innovation, learning, change and more. Celebrating the people and ideas that inspire us and make us think twice about the world around us. Meet like-minded and curious people. Learn new things. Be inspired.

Tickets on sale July 1st.
